Dana and I rescued Chopper from the Sonoma County Animal Shelter in California in the late spring of 2006. She traveled to Oregon with us in the summer of 2006 and lives with us still. We think Chopper is a greyhound/shepherd mix. She is a happy dog.

Some of our most fun times are when we take Chopper to the local dog park (“Happy Tails”). Here she has chased a squirrel up a tree and is waiting for it to come back down. I think I saw her hold back a little when she almost caught the squirrel during the chase, as if she chases it for fun and not for killing.
